Therese Healy Kelly

Therese Healy Kelly was born 1972 in the north Cork town of Kanturk. She studied Economics and Mathematics in UCC and graduated in 1994 from UCC with BA degree and HDIPeduc.

After spending several years travelling the world with her husband, Jack, she eventually settled in Galway. It was in Galway that Therese began to pursue her passion in painting. She enrolled in art classes at The Paint Box in Barna, studying under Miriam Cronin who became a wonderful mentor and a major influence on Therese's artistic journey. Her inspiration comes from her surroundings, she always has her camera at hand to capture any scene that sparks creativity.

Though her five children are her top priority, she always makes time to paint in her art studio where she becomes completely absorbed in the creative process.
