Peter Goodfellow was a British artist, best known for his landscapes and book cover illustrations. Born in 1950, Goodfellow studied at Middlesborough College of Art before pursuing a degree in art at London's Central School of Art.

From the early 1970s up until the late 1980s Goodfellow created illustrations for book covers, predominantly for science fiction novels. His work feautured on the books of authors such as Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick and Olaf Stapledon. Goodfellow also created the National Lottery 'It Could Be You' crossed fingers logo in the 90s.

After a move to Scotland in 1985, Goodfellow moved on to landscape painting, becoming a renowned landscape painter and featuring in various exhibitions.

His work can be found in public and private collections internationally, including Victoria & Albert Museum,London; Scandutch, Denmark; Cidel Bank, Luxembourg; BBC; and CBC, Copenhagan.

Peter Goodfellow passed away in 2002.
