Madden, Bernadette
Bernadette Madden was born in Dublin in 1948. She graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 1970, and held her first solo exhibition in 1971.
Madden works mainly in batik and also makes screenprints on paper. Her work is in the collections of the Arts Council, the Office of Public Works, the Bank of Ireland and the Ulster Museum. Awards include the Macauley Fellowship in Painting.
